For this week, I have created a website @ the following address www.wmuskybroncos-alumni.com
I created this site as a members only/Alumni website for the WMU Skybroncos (both current, and former Alumni members). Ideally I'd like to start some sort of Alumni association for the flight team. Over the years there have been so many team members that we have lost track of as they move into their careers. I'm hoping the gain contact with as many as possible. THis website is a means of doing so, along with helping them keep up with the current teams events, and up to date information. There is a secure login, however I've setup a temporary login for guests to check out the site for this class.

I really like what you did with your website. It serves a great purpose (connect others and provide important information) and is very user friendly. It really looks like you spent a lot of time creating a welcoming space (whether you did or not). I like the secure login idea, and it would be helpful for my own website (for a classroom) for more intimate activities that I might have my students participate in, like blogging and/or assignments they could create/do online. Question - how did you get the flying airplanes to go across your screen? It was a nice touch! :)
Michelle - The littles airplanes effect is done through the company that I set the site up through. There were several options pages that I had to sift through to get it to work, & I'm guessing that by enabling that option sinply adds some HTML code to the page that does it. I wish I had a better technical answer for you.
